Ambiance Luxe Wedding | Waterfront Connecticut Wedding at the Amarante's Sea Cliff {Photography by HK Photography}

We were so happy with Amanda & Bill's wedding this past Sunday at Amarante's in New Haven, and according to Amanda & Bill, so were their guests! Amanda's classic, tuscany-inspired color palette of reds, whites, and black was beautiful and traditional. Candi, owner of Candi's Floral Creations, designed these beautiful modern arrangements and bouquets.

This low centerpiece was a hit with all of the guests, and they were all taken home at the end of the evening. We covered all of the tables with rose petals and votives for a unique and romantic look. The ceremony was beautiful too, and I can't wait to see the photos from Hubert and Alka of HK Photography.
This view is from behind the sweetheart table where you can see the tall arrangements in the background. Since Amanda & Bill are musicians, their song choices were impecable! We had a great time dancing and mingling with all of their guests. It was also funny that Bill had been a previous music teacher of Lyssa, who was working on their event with me.
Instead of wedding favors, Amanda & Bill decided to make a donation to the East Haven Food Pantry. We placed the donation favor cards at each of their guests seats at the reception. The pattern I chose for the bottom of the favor card and for the table numbers truly matched Amanda & Bill's style! Amanda was wearing a red and white wedding dress, and Bill had a beautiful shirt with a similar red and white pattern. I can't wait to see the photos of the bridal party from Hubert and Alka!

The wedding cake was designed and delivered by Creative Cakes by Donna out of Haddam, CT. She did a beautiful job on the cake, and it was absolutely delicious! Amanda & Bill cut the cake to "When I'm 64" by the Beatles, one of my favorite cake cutting songs.
At the end of the night I wanted to take a fun photo of Amanda's gorgeous red shoes, so I set them up in front of her awesome bouquets. Candi did such a beautiful job with the flowers! Thank you so much to Amanda and Bill for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We are looking forward to seeing the rest of your photos! Stay tuned for our major site re-model showcasing full galleries of our favorite wedding. It is in the works and coming soon along with a total blog re-model as well. We can't wait!

Ambiance Luxe Wedding | West Hartford Connecticut Wedding at Barcelona Restaurant

Melissa and Angie flew into Connecticut from Michigan to have their beautiful wedding at Wickham Park in Manchester, CT. We had the ceremony in the Lotus Garden, after weeks of June rain, all 6 of their guests fit perfectly in the Pagoda overlooking the pond and fountain.

Here is a candid shot I stole of Melissa & Angie after the ceremony. Candi from Candi's Floral Creations made their gorgeous melon calla lily arrangements for the ceremony which we also used at the reception. They were simple and stunning, modern and fun! After the ceremony we traveled to Barcelona Wine Bar in West Hartford for an intimate reception with unbelievable food.

Barcelona was kind enough to close off the main dining room so that we could have the loft and the surrounding space all to ourselves. The striking reception location was an instant hit with all of the guests.

We used Candi's beautiful arrangements to flank Melissa's bouquet at the dinner table. We had a delicious food selection that Melissa & Angie created with Maggie from Barcelona including Lobster Risotto, Filet Mignon, and the most amazing Tapas. Every bite we took was sheer heaven!
After the wedding, Melissa & Angie went on a romantic tour of Cape Cod and Boston before returning home. The wedding was truly unique and absolutely perfect. Thank you Melissa & Angie for letting us plan your wedding. We loved every minute of it!
